Nothing worse than love poetry

1

You color-in when ill-at-ease.

came and left, never here.

Enjoy mediocrity as it explodes your inside mash,

pump the marrow with a creamy brine.

2

The shell-shocked bunch devours arrows while

wrapped around a reverberated shrine, the sparrow

shines through glass walls, partitions,

causing crowds to stir and bake and brillow

an unfinished meal.

3

A float of common comfort creatures—

ships marry populated pushpins

a geography of notation, of ease.

Frosty.

A right kind.

Melting ice,

floating cream and pulsing pavement.

Anotate the bulbous locket

share the fixture through another hour—-

delay.

Hold the tinkered era

past the bursting night

singe your single sweep

massed out from the middle

cheery warm and coasting

towards a silent joy.

Ellipsis

Careful.

A necessary explanation

the likes of you may

not like me.

But somehow you contract and

all around are thoughts

of someone else.

The scene conflates,

hampers,

clammers shut,

as we wax prose in poetic silence.

Never banish ill of night–

the dotted clouds shake through. . .
