Out out

Posted in poem by m.snowe on January 2, 2009

Out out

You should’ve known better

Than to yell whispers

And marathon foreign lies.

Out get out

I cannot hear myself think

When you talk in glances down

The streaks of window panes.

Out of here out

There’s something in the air

That can’t explain the pleating

In your canvas smile.

Out for ever out

Hear my big-ticket scream

And soon you’ll understand the straights

You make, lying in.
